One week in...what's the lounge verdict on streaming now?
I had Sling last year, and I don't know if it was Sling, or Comcast cutting my bandwidth, or extraterrestrials, but I got really worked up about buffering and getting cut off in the middle of the games. I remembered this Sling tidbit, only when I found my last password, which had been reset multiple times and was finally changed to: Slingyoulongrunningslewofprofanities.
So this past weekend I had Sling AND Hulu going. (I had to put a free Sling trial on a second Roku, because no matter how I tried, I couldn't shake Sling from the first one). After seeing Hulu for the first time, and the ease with which I could surf relative to Sling, I dropped Sling immediately. Looked like all HD to these failing, old, eyes, too.
But NOW come the Hulu problems: No ESPN 3 (at least for me) and NO ACCNetwork Extra. Daaaah! This streaming stuff is getting old. Youtube TV appears to have the same exact limitations of content that are going to exclude me from the upcoming Hokie games.
Am I Reddit bound now? In for a big bar tab at the sports bar? Anyone got anything?
