I think you'd see the problem drop off rather quickly. Maybe stop providing counselling services for every stupid little problem that a student encounters.

Those students that were "traumatized" over the mouse in their apartment should have been told to grow up and then been thrown out of the counselor's office. Start treating the students like adults instead of infants.
