I remember a girl getting upset with a History professor for

assigning ten books to read over the quarter--she asked him don't you know we have other classes? His response was, "I don't care. If you're taking this for fun I suggest you run right now to drop/add; if you need it for your core curriculum, guess what? I'm the only one who teaches it.
