There are like 4 or 5 active leagues now and a couple lower level

and lots of leagues and teams that have given it up.

Read that players get $75-$150 a game and nothing else. Must travel by bus which for many of the teams is many days and I doubt they are getting hotels on the road. Maybe some meal money, but who knows.

I saw a local team practice at the Y gym one night after my kid's basketball practice. It is kind of sad. Destroying their bodies for nothing and so many still seem to think they are gonna get their break and make the big time.
