Even withstanding that issue and others...

all you have to do is look at the student sections in the majority of P5 stadiums. Those are tomorrow's boosters and season ticket holders. college football in my opinion isn't going away but I feel there is pretty good visibility about the long term trend lines. in my opinion history may judge the enormous investment most (not all) schools are making into athletic infrastructure as a bust.
