It's not as common as football. None of the freshman recruits did


When I was in school years ago. They will give you a summer workout regiment, but other than that the freshman are on their own for the most part.

After that, plenty of guys stick around for the summer running camps and things like that.

That's what it was like 15-20 years ago anyway.
