Guessing: Ice damming isn't a lack of maintenance.


I think it's more like a basement having water seep through the cracks. Not covered unless you have flood insurance.

They may say: "Keep the valley clean and you have no flood". They may be right, but I will counter with: I just cleaned them, more came down.

Then they say: Too bad!

Then I say :My dad can beat up your dad!

And so on.

Trust me, we'll ask all of those questions when the adjuster comes out.
