Football recruiting is already pretty tough for them. They might take guys


that can’t qualify for the ACC but with ODU, and now Liberty in Div 1, there will be more competition for those players. And with the P5 North Carolina schools having reasonable success in recent years it gets harder with the instate kids and the eastern Virginia kids too.

Basketball will, probably as you say, be competing against Division 3 schools for a while. Although, the transfer market might be able to furnish them with some good players until they get the coaching set up.
