ODU struggling a little financially, (Raising contributions)


They entered CUSA and now now TV contract and high travel costs. They don't want to switch to Sun Belt. They are faced with some significant facility costs with respect to the football stadium. They need to raise support from contributors, to raise the bar. The key is engaging none ODU alumni in Hampton Roads. I don't think the AD has that kind of savvy for outreach. (his background is UVA and since they have so much money raising it is not a qualification.

Actually getting the right AD, I see more potential at ODU than East Carolina.
