but Northwestern brought back their program (1982-1992) from the dead in 2002 and won 5 straight national championships from 2005-2009, plus 2011 and 2012. Chicago isn't Long Island or Baltimore-DC even though most of NU's players came from those areas. USC started their program in 2013 and made the NCAA 2nd round in 2015 and the quarterfinals last season. Just saying that it can be done with the right coach and recruits.
