I've never been someone who joined organized activities like that, always figured I knew how to get enough exercise on my own. So did it, kept it up all summer and really pushed myself hard, really Katy our instructor did and holy crap...she could embarrass you with effort. One result is that I rode uphill from Damascus to White top on the Virginia Creeper Trail, I kinda cruised up the hill, yeah, not so humble brag, but I was impressed with myself. Even got a "what a man"! when I did that. You need a little ego boosters from time to time ;^)

Indirectly, went to see Paul Simon, knew of him since "The Graduate" came out never saw him, never really considered him "my" music even though liked/loved his stuff. Finally listened to the words on stuff...oh, that's what he meant! Better late than never I guess.

Good post idea, was thinking of a best/worst of 2017 but this works better, did you do what you said what you'd do this year? sumnation to this rapidly receding year.
