Besides it’s not very likely next year will be that big of a recruiting year. This year is the bottom of our valley since our peak at finishing 4th so recruits may see this as a downward spiral and is going to no doubt hurt our recruiting next year.

Fortunately I see next years team having an improved outing which in result will improve recruiting. Probably not enough to really bring in a huge class like this previous year, but definitely better than this year and next year. The year following I see us again improving and again the recruiting will improve. That is when I think the pressure will be on as this young class will be heading out of the door.

I stated this before somewhere, but from the year sophomore and down we have guys at every weight with the exception of 157 who were nationally ranked. Next year will be the beginning of our upswing and hopefully at the end of that we can improve our previous peak and attract top recruits to avoid a lower valley than this year. I do think we need a slightly better year next year and definitely not worse.

I think 2020 is the year the pressure is really on.
