Eh, not sure about that take.


According to this, they're pretty close (concussions) -- where women's soccer is 0.41 per 1,000 exposures, and football is 0.37.

But then, if you include spring football (practice?) and the 0.54 rate, they're even closer.

On top of that -- wild guess, but women are more likely to report the concussions.

There is a theory though, that women are more likely to get concussions, because of weaker neck/shoulder/back muscles.

Anyway, yes -- soccer is surprisingly dangerous for head injuries. But is women's soccer more head-dangerous than football? Not sure.
