Nah, a lot has changed since SMU.

Louisville is so vested in athletics they would pursue every available legal action to prevent it or delay it 200 years.

And to those who say kick them out of the ACC -which in effect could be like the death penalty- same deal, won't happen for same reason.

Swoffy will come up with some penalty that they will live with. The clamor over all this will eventually die down and we'll all move on to the "next" college scandal, and Louisville will go back to being Louisville, slowly but surely.

Sorry for my cynicism but I've been hearing about reform since I read my first SI issue in the late 60s.
