Dog fighting

Does it bother anyone else that for all the crap that MV1 continues to get about his past transgressions that talking heads, and people in general, continue to talk about "not having a dog in the fight" or "this game is going to be a real dogfight", etc.? To be fair, I don't know that it's the same people decrying what MV1 did and also using the dogfight analogy, but it still bugs me. For all the press that was received during MV1's trial and the outrage (rightfully so) of a blood sport that should be stopped, it amazes me how often it comes up in conversation. I have personally made the decision to stop using the dogfight analogy and try to use "having a horse in the race" instead.
