That wasn't my experience...


I was in SRO for one game a few years ago. (Granted, this was only one time, but I'll tell you my experience.) There is a seat number on your ticket but the whole SRO area was first come, first serve and your row/seat was meaningless. If you are on the railing and move (e.g. go to the bathroom or concession stand) you can expect someone to take your spot within a few second of leaving. The experience is highly dependent on how many drunk people are around you- a lot of the people were really pounding beers (gotta do something with the money you saved getting a ticket, right?). The good thing is that since you can move anywhere in SRO, if you get some annoying people by you, you can just go stand in another row.

My personal assessment was the only good thing was the price. If I was in college, I'd do it again, but in my 30s, I wouldn't do it again.
