I moved from Houston right after TS Allison...


We got 11" inches of rain in less than 24 hrs. Couldn't see the street in front of our home and the water was 1/3 of the way up my yard and short driveway.

Someone estimated it would require $26B to fix Houston's flooding problem. I've got no interest in living near the gulf coast or anywhere else close to the typical storm prone Atlantic Coast.

Don't miss it one bit.
