Agree with you about the overall dynamics of the rivalry. Within the area covered by the Bluefield Daily Telegraph, the Tech-WVU game was by far the biggest college football event of the year regardless of how well either team was performing. But the consistent success of both programs under Nehlen and Beamer definitely kicked things up a notch.
