It's all about where you are from. There is an imaginary line that runs through about Charleston, it runs east/west, if you are north of that line it's Pitt, Penn State, then VT. If you are south, VT and Pitt are on an even playing field. I grew up an hour west of Princeton, it's all about VT to me then Pitt. Maryland became a whipping post after we conquered them with the late Chris Henry in OT in like 03 or 04. Except for 13 they haven't beat us, VT has been the game for us southern fans. UVA pissed everyone off with their off color halftime show and whooping they put on us at the bowl in Charlotte several years ago, but a lot of folks feel avenged given we went to Charlottesville and smacked them in bball last year.
