I disagree


Dresser knew Cody very well. He knew Codys issues and he knew his commitment to wrestling. Cody literally had to be woken up to compete in the state finals one year... he was literally passed out asleep. He had drug problems that were well known in high school. Dresser wouldn't recruit that kind of wrestler under any other circumstance other than he had a connection with him. He even pushed Gardner to go heavyweight to take weight cutting out of the equation. Gardner was entirely a unique situation when it came to Dresser.
