You may not, but I have heard plenty of people reference


cost for why they support the usage of capital punishment. I am not suggesting one way is right because it comes down to personal preference. It is also why I said sometimes a person's opinion/perception may not always align with the facts. For example I have heard plenty of people say that jails and prisons today are more like country clubs because of the TVs, weight sets, and other stuff available to "entertain" them while in there. Now obviously everyone (including the people making those statements) knows they are not country clubs, but that is still the perception some people have of our modern jail/prison system.
