It does take a little experimentation to find out what's right for you.


Everybody has different "sit bone" geometry, so what works for one person may not for another. You just have to experiment with different saddles.

Specialized even has a butt meter, where you sit on a foam pad, then measure the distance between the impressions left by your sit bones.
