Oddly the Masters is a one year TV contract, but they want the spot light

and bringing March Madness in at the same time would hurt the Masters and they know it. I think until they shift the Masters and March Madness to a different network like you suggested, it will not change.

On the other hand, baseball and college golf etc. really don't have much holding them back from starting the season three weeks later. I think it will help to pick up the audience for TV and give them more of a spot light in late June and possibly early July. These students are playing their sport year round these days.
