Anyone use multiple phone lines on a smart phone?

First, I use iPhone for personal and another one from work. So lay down your pitchforks droid nation!

I am trying to see what is the best route to "twin" or have an app to forward or use another line on the iPhone. I don't mind having two separate phones and I'd rather keep it that way. During work hours I don't have an issue keeping two around. But when I'm on personal time, weekend, or vacation, I do need to be reachable but I'd love then not to have to carry two.

In a perfect world, I'd like to have the ability on my personal iPhone to switch on the ability to make and accept calls and maybe even texts from the work number. I would want to ADD in the work number, not have the app give me a second number.

Obviously there are certain auto responses and forwarding that can be done typically for vacations but I have crews and equipment running at any given day or night. If i'm out with friends on an evening or weekend, I'd want to be able to use one phone without having to set up all kinds of auto responses and forwarding.

Thoughts?

Thanks so much in advance!
