In the late 70's girlfriend (now wife) and I went to see Jesse Colin Young.

Opening act was some guy we had never heard of, "Boz Scaggs". Turns out he had just released the album "Silk Degrees". He and his band cranked out every one of those songs plus more. The whole place was going crazy, people dancing in the isles, jumping up and down on seats, just wild. Finally after several encores they were pulled off the stage. JCY must have been pissed because he waited at least an hour before coming out. His music was a real downer compared to Boz. People started to leave including us. We went to a store and bought Silk Degrees.
