Not likely
In NCAA Division I,Track & Field (men's), there is a total scholarship limit of 12.6 for the track & field team and cross-country team combined. These scholarships are broken into partial scholarships (usually 1/4's and 1/2's). An absolute top talent might get a full scholarship, especially if they can deliver in multiple events. Beck is really good; he is currently the 5th fastest 11th grader in the country but he is not elite enough to warrant a full T & F scholarship. He would be a nice addition to our T & F team. His recent time would have put him in 5th place at the ACC Championships. As another point of reference, our top sprinter is freshman Michael Davenport who went 10.28 at the ACCs. His best high school time was a 10.53.
