This is the first Mother's Day since mine passed. It's odd.

I did whatever I could for her for her last nine years after my sister died, but MPHNC was never happy, rarely easy to get along with and always demanding. Other humans were servants to MPH, and it wore thin. Often.

Still, it's odd.
