In case they cause damage to home or worker gets hurt. They all use sub-contractors to stay competitive. Que habla espanol. They get paid by the job not the hour. Watch out for them leaving tools on your roof (e.g. power tools, pitchforks...etc.). If they use a trailer to haul away old roofing materials, make sure they chock the wheels. I've had two roofs replaced in Houston and Raleigh.
