I'm okay with the finish


could be more satisfied, but could be less. The only reason we were in the position to strike in the top 4 was because of all the preparation the team and coaching staff put in. To wrestle to seed when your seeded in the top 6 is not easy.

VT's MO has been to take good guys and make them really good. We haven't had the top recruits (Snyder, Retherford, Nolf, etc) that come in ready to win the NC, but taken guys like Ty Walz and gotten them to be better. I think Ty was 13th best in his class, and now 4th in the country of all NCAA wrestlers - pretty good. That was specifically cited by Mitch Moore, and I assume his brother Brent thought similarly. Need to build on it, and having one or two storied champs would be a great addition to build on.
