It's annoying that the government is open today...


Southern Fairfax... we don't have snow. We have compressed fluffy ice. And it's still sleeting.

Government is just a 3hr delay... so if I shovel now so I can go to to work... the sleet will make it a sheet of ice. If I don't shovel, it will get too heavy to move, and then it will become a solid sheet and be impossible to move. But then if I shovel, tomorrow the sun will begin melting it, but because it won't be above freezing, our driveway (which is 360ft downhill from the road) will be a long sheet of black ice.
