I'd be shocked if St. John doesn't follow KD.


He's a young guy without a lot of experience and he's from Iowa. Going home seems like a natural fit, and continuing to work with an established star in the coaching world like Dresser is a wise career choice. I honestly can't see him staying here unless Dresser doesn't want him, which seems unlikely.

Zadick feels more like a coin-flip to me. I'm sure Dresser would welcome him to Ames if he wants to go there, but his decision may depend on who Whit hires here. A couple more years guiding a non-traditional power like VT to continued success (outside Dresser's shadow) would look good on his resume, assuming he wants to be the head coach somewhere in the near future.
