If KD leaves this is why...


Yes, KD is from Iowa and he still has family in Iowa so there is that angle. If it is money, i have to believe that Whit could match whatever the salary number is. The only difference is the community in Blacksburg. Dresser has made VT a power in college wrestling and we still cant get a sell out in Cassell for a FREE match vs the #8 team in the country for the ACC title. If KD leaves, this falls on the hokie community for not supporting this team. Those of us on this thread love wrestling which is why we want KD to stay, however, when we cant get the student body to a free home match when their team is consistently ranked in the top 5 that is a problem. I dont know what else KD can do to get the "word" out about this program but he cant fill the seats. KD has started a regional training center, practice in the middle of the drillfield, posted videos, tweets, etc and still the same loyal fans at every match. As Iowa st, he will sell out their arena consistently.
