Dresser has worked hard for us and in the twilight of his career gets to go home closer to family to coach at a big time wrestling program for 2x the money?!?! At his age going into retirement these things do not happen often and we are asking him to leave $150k on the table? That is a lot of money.

Or Whit and the athletic department for not ponying up the extra $$ to keep him? Because I am pretty sure if we could have found an extra $150k to keep our program on the verge of a potential natty and on par with the Big Ten programs he would have stayed.

So who are you pissed at again?!?! I am just as disappointed as the next guy, but no way is any of it directed at Dresser. Guy worked his soul off to prevent VT's wrestling program from being dead and actually putting it on the national map.
