Iowans forget


That the "option " to "release" , is just that , an option to release from a commitment . It's set up by the NCAA that way so that there may be some leverage to get an athlete to actually honor a commitment. I also realize the modern ( last 30 years ) college student and society in general , has a different idea of what the word commitment means, especially regarding schollys and coaching contracts.
