I can't speak for the coaches. I was speaking from a fan standpoint. Hard

to get excited when you are getting spanked. I trust Dresser and staff though because they have turned very bad wrestlers into more before. Chris Penny won 3 matches his first year and ended up an All American.

Ryan just isn't ready right now and he's being thrown to the wolves because of the injuries and red shirts. There is nothing to see here. I'm sure he's working hard and trying to do the best he can, but this is D1 athletics, not high school wrestling. Some kids don't make it as far as he has so he has nothing to be ashamed of.
