Good to see that this may be changing


High speed Internet makes Teleworking/hoteling possible for many government agencies. The TLA's are only just starting to adopt these with any seriousness. Unlike the teleworkers at Yahoo! who were not getting their work done, I think that a great many government agencies are very well suited to having employees Telework. It's a win-win-win. The employee doesn't have to pay for gas and can live in a lower cost area, the government doesn't have to pay for the overhead of having work space, and the place where the employee chooses to live gets the taxes etc from that employee living there.
