usually folks talk about vague generalities, so at least there's an actionable item here.

And I don't have a clue as to why one would be taxed and the other not. I'm guessing one is deemed household stuff and the other medical which just happens to split along female/male lines this time.

Rogaine seems like vanity to me so not sure why it's any different than shampoo, while I'm guessing viagra is doctor prescribed (?) and could argue it treats a "condition" although I suspect the condition is old age. Is Rogaine prescribed? maybe that's the difference.
