And he has played around 36 or more games in helping that school

Including last year's Rose Bowl (where he was MVP). He has done plenty for the school. He is missing one game (yes, a bowl game) in an attempt to assure he can secure his financial status for many, many years.

Who knows, maybe since his coaches and teammates understand and support his decision he might donate some money to that school.
