NCAA President Mark Emmert says he would prefer an 8-team CFB Playoff so all Power 5 conference champions are guaranteed a bid

Between this and all the MB smoke about the B12 collapsing I have a feeling we have a 8 team playoff (with 5 Auto and 3 WC or Power 4 CCGs) by 2020, which would be year 7 of the new playoff deal and there ate look-ins after years 3 and 6 IIRC.
