Made it to the 70th anniversary ceremonies in 2014.


Flew to Heathrow, took a bus south to Portsmouth, rode the ferry across the channel and landed in Cherbourg. Toured the beaches and other sites. Bused to Paris for three days and flew home. Bucket list trip.
