Devil's advocate...I wonder if they would have been as hospitable


had they been 10-0 instead of 4-6. I agree with the sentiments all over the board...ND fans were first class...But, with a 4-6 record and pretty miserable conditions, you are likely going to get the "core" group of fans who were pretty much resigned to losing anyway.

Not saying that's necessarily the case, but the thought definitely crossed my mind. Hopefully, the next time we go back will be an early October game...I'd like to see the campus with the leaves still on the trees.
