Laugh at me like if you'd like, but I love that show. I think the history is cool, and the legend is intriguing. Some of the stuff discovered over the years is pretty incredible, too (subterranean tunnels that deliver seawater to the supposed treasure shaft?). Then there's the human element of the story, which encompasses multiple families and generations that have made it their life's mission to find the treasure. I really admire the Lagina brothers for teaming up together to chase a childhood dream, and for their inclusion of Dan and Dave Blankenship in their search. They have shown great respect for those that came before them and haven't made their search, or the show, all about themselves. I find that refreshing in a day and age of "look at me!" reality shows.

I think The Curse of Oak Island is just an all-around fun and engaging show. I'm really looking forward to the start of the new season.
