Crawford Palmer team, right?


my mediocre Hayfield team played at W&L early in the 87-88 season. I remember Coach K was sitting in the stands watching one of his prize recruits. We lost by a wide margin, and I remember thinking that the refs were intimidated with K sitting there (much like ACC refs) and it seemed like Palmer got every call. Probably sour grapes on my part. Other thing I remember about that season is epic games between South Lakes (Grant Hill sophomore season) vs. solid W&L teams in conference and I think region playoffs. Good times for Northern Virginia hoops - all region team had two guys (Hill and Davis) go on to great (Hill) and solid (Hubert Davis) NBA careers.
