High schools are not competing colleges for audiences on Friday night.

Personally, I believe that is a red herring.

I do not believe there are any folks who were planning on going down to there local high school on Friday night who changed their minds because a college game was on TV.

If a person is interested in watching high school football, then they will go watch high school football regardless of what's on TV.

Atlee HS is about 1.5 miles from my house. You know when was the last AHS game I watched. It was the last home game played their in 1994, the year my daughter graduated. I only went to the games in 1994 and the 2 years prior because she was in the marching band.
