A bit off topic..Does Arlington County still vacuum the leaf piles from the


curb. I remember as a kid, raking all the leaves to the curb, and a truck with a huge vacuum tube would drive around the neighborhood and suck up the leaves.

Residents could go to the compost pile (off of Old Dominion Drive, I believe) and take as much leaf mulch as they wanted.
