I fly Delta regularly and am Platinum Medallion status. If it is a cheap ticket, it is probably not refundable. Be sure to ask but I rarely get a refundable ticket. You can change the ticket but you will probably have to pay a $200 change fee on the ticket. If you have a good sob story you may be able to talk your way out of the change fee, but they are usually pretty strict about nailing you with it. Good luck
