Doesn't that assume that every lady in attendance was jumping?

I am not sure you can assume that everyone was jumping last night. At least when I had season tickets, there were a lot of older Hokie fans around me who never jumped during Sandman. One elderly lady, I want to say in her 70s or 80s, would come to most of the home games (only stayed home for the really cold games) with her 2 sons and daughter-in-law and sat directly behind me. Once she arrived at her seat she would rarely get up until it was time to go home. She was the nicest lady to chat with and passionate with her cheering on the Hokies. However, she told me 1 time while waiting for the game to start that she could never see herself jumping to music. She would much rather enjoy watching all the young people do it.

So I figure within the Hokie fanbase there were some women in attendance who either physically couldn't jump for 1 reason or another and/or women who think they are too old to do it. Plus, you would have to factor in all the female fans of the opposing team. At least I don't think opposing fans jump with VT fans.
