If you look at the FIFA Rankings (as of July 14)

then you will see 10-15 are as follows:

10. Italy
11. Wales
12. Uruguay
13. England
14. Mexico
15. Croatia

Which of those teams (if any) should be ahead of Brasil right now?

Italy - 3-1 friendly loss to Belgium on 11/13/15 and 4-1 friendly loss to Germany on 3/29/16 may be the only negatives. Not sure about the friendly draw with Romania on 11/17/15.

Wales - Lost to England and Portugal in the European Championships. Went 0-3-1 in 4 friendly matches leading up to the European Championships; losses (Netherlands, Ukraine, Sweden) and tied (Northern Ireland). Even lost to Bosnia-Herzegovina during the European Championships Qualification Stage.

Uruguay - Drew with Brasil on 3/25/16. Also lost to Venezuela (currently ranked #46) in Copa America.

England - Overrated (enough said).

Mexico - 7-0 loss to Chile in Copa America and a friendly draw with T&T on 9/4/15.

Croatia - Win against Spain in the European Championships helped moved them up 12 places from the last rankings. Is it enough to move them up 6 more places without another impressive win and a few questionable draws?
