There have been 10 games over the last two years and 2 of them were classics with national title implications.

* ND @ FSU ('14) - Seminoles hold off ND at the goal line after a potential winning TD was called back. The 31-27 win helped propel FSU into the NCG.

* ND @ Clemson ('15) - Tigers get up big... then hold off late ND rally in the rain. The 24-22 win helps propel Clemson into CFP.

Not all the games have been great, but some other notable games:
* ND @ uva ('15) - The ACC bottom feeders had ND beaten... until a Hail Mary by their backup QB kept their season alive.

* Louisville @ ND('14) - Cards beat ND 31-28 on NBC.

* UNC @ ND ('14) - Irish win 50-43 in a game where UNC had a great offense and a horrid defense. NBC really talked up the Heels tho...

* BC/ND @ Fenway ('15) - Not a great game... but a close Irish win over another ACC bottom feeder, 19-16.

That's 6 of the 10 games. A few duds (WF, GT, Cuse) come to mind, but many memorable games against ACC teams. These games have been replacing the "memorable" games against B1G teams in the past.

I expect this continue in general. Some of the ACC games will being drama and that reflects well on the conference. Heck, maybe some rivalries may build... which would also be great.

The ND network has a habit of building up ND's next opponent. It's great that these will be ACC teams for half the year and far fewer B1G opponents :)
