Question for Cord Cutting Gurus

Live in NOVAsux and getting ready to cut the cord, I think. Verizon just jacked up the price another $10/month.

I already have Neflix and Amazon, plus a Roku. Going to add Sling for the channels I'd be missing, which just leaves basic sports, since we don't watch local news.

Saw in previous posts, where some kept FIOS for local channels. Why? Sling has NBC, Fox, Comcast SportsNet. And ABC and CBS both stream live, right? Am I missing anything?

Also, anybody notice a big difference going from FIOS 50/50 to 100/100?
